Sonic set to appear at the Summer Sonic 2022 music festival

The Summer Sonic 2022 music festival is set to take place in Japan on August 20th and 21st, 2022. With a name like Summer Sonic 2022, you might think this is SEGA related. In reality, SEGA hasn’t had any ties to this large-scale Japanese music festival, but that’s all changing with the 2022 event.
For the first time ever, Sonic the Hedgehog will appear at the Summer Sonic 2022 music festival, and he’s hanging out at the Sonic Stage. Sonic the Hedgehog will only appear in the primary Tokyo venue, and not the Osaka satellite event. As to what Sonic will actually be doing on stage, your guess is as good as ours!
When it comes to music, the first day of the concert will feature St. Vincent, Kacey Musgraves, Vaundy, Awesome City Club, Squid, and Chai. The second day will have Carly Rae Jepsen, CL, Endrecheri, Queen Bee, Griff, Chanmina, and Salem Ilese.
