Triggerheart Exelica's physical Switch release detailed

Red Art Games is excited to finally reveal its Western physical editions of Triggerheart EXELICA for Nintendo Switch. Triggerheart EXELICA is the newest and most complete version of the legendary Japanese Shoot ‘em Up first released in Japanese arcades in 2006. This upcoming Western version of Triggerheart EXELICA, published digitally by Cosmo Machia, will be the first to get an official physical release in the West.

In the West, Triggerheart EXELICA will receive both ESRB and PEGI-rated physical Nintendo Switch versions. In Europe, the game will be distributed by Red Art Games, with Video Games Plus handling its North American version. European players will have the chance to get their hands on three physical editions.

In addition to the game’s Standard Edition which will be available from various retailers once it launches, two special editions can be pre-ordered from Red Art Games’ official online store now. Red Art Games’ Triggerheart EXELICA special editions were created using assets coming straight from the original developer’s archives. Those assets were initially used for Japan-only releases of the game in the early 2000s.
