The team behind Backpack Hero was looking to pull in $20,000 via Kickstarter to fund their game, but that was just for a PC release. If backers wanted to see the game on Switch, they’d have to hit a $70,00 stretch goal. Thankfully, backers were very much up to the challenge.
The Backpack Hero Kickstarter has officially wrapped, and it amassed a whopping $223,000 when all was said and done. That’s obviously more than enough for a Switch version, so we can 100% expect the title to release for Switch at some point down the road.
