Check out a Japanese commercial for Splatoon 3's Side Order DLC

Everyone can use a little more color in their life, but that’s not to say you don’t have to work for it sometimes. Available today, in the single-player Side Order DLC — the second wave of the Splatoon 3: Expansion Pass for Splatoon 3 — you play as Agent 8, a resident of Inkopolis who has to ascend the Spire of Order to restore color to their bleached-out world.

The Side Order DLC is designed to be played again and again, whether you’re a Splatoon vet or a newcomer. Each level of the Spire presents new – and ever-changing – challenges which you’ll need to overcome to gain valuable color chips. Then use those chips to customize your Palette with enhancements and new abilities, which might just give you a fighting chance when you attempt to reach the top and bring color back to the bland and “orderly” Inkopolis. Plus, you can acquire permanent upgrades as you play to make your ascent a little easier for your next run.
