Arcade Archives: War of Aero launches on Switch today

HAMSTER Co. is happy to announce that War of Aero: Project MEIOU will be released for Nintendo Switch on Feb. 29th, 2024, available digitally for Arcade Archives series by HAMSTER. “War of Aero” is a vertical shmup released by ALLUMER in 1993.
War of Aero: Project MEIOU is a 2D vertical scrolling futuristic shoot ‘em up. The aircraft can be fitted with pods on either side, which can be turned around to shoot up and down. In addition, when the 1P and 2P aircraft are stacked on top of each other, they merge to create a powerful attack.
The “Arcade Archives” series has faithfully reproduced many classic Arcade masterpieces. Players can change various game settings such as game difficulty, and also reproduce the atmosphere of arcade display settings at that time. Players can also compete against each other from all over the world with their high scores. Please enjoy the masterpiece that built a generation for video games.
