Ridge Racer 30th Anniversary DJ event announced

Can you believe that we’re coming up on the 30th anniversary of the Ridge Racer series? The Bandai Namco racer has been kicking up asphalt for 3 decades now, and they plan to celebrate this Summer with a special event for Japanese audiences.
Bandai Namco has announced the Ridge Racer Night 2024 DJ event, and it’s set to take place July 7th, 2024 at WombLife in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. This event will be attended by multiple composers who’ve crafted tunes for the Ridge Racer series, and they’ll be acting as DJs to spin tunes throughout the night. Fans of the franchise can expect to see Shinji “Sampling Masters MEGA” Hosoe, Ayako “Sampling Masters AYA” Saso, Nobuyoshi “sanodg” Sano, Hiroshi Okubo, and Sho Okada in attendance.
Tickets to the event are priced at $66 a piece, but each ticket also gets you an exclusive CD containing two 25-minute-long medley tracks produced by Sampling Masters MEGA and AYA. There’s no word if this CD will be made available for streaming purposes online.
