Niantic teases Pokémon GO Fest 2024, details Weather Week

Niantic has shared not one, but two tidbits for Pokémon GO trainers today, and first up is the above teaser trailer for Pokémon GO Fest 2024. Niantic says they’ll be sharing full details on GO Fest 2024 soon, and they’re asking fans to take a stab at which cities will be included this time around. The only thing we know for sure right now is that Pokémon GO Fest 2024 will spotlight Marshadow in some way.
As we ponder what GO Fest 2024 will offer, Niantic has also given us something to look forward to in the very near future. Pokémon GO Weather Week runs March 14, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. to March 18, 2024 8:00 p.m. local time, and it’s set to offer all kinds of fun. Here’s a breakdown of what’ll be included:
Event bonuses
- Catch Pokémon with Weather Boost to earn extra Stardust.
- 2× Stardust for catching Pokémon.
- Increased chance to encounter Shiny Castform!
The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild in the following weather conditions. Additionally, Castform will appear more frequently in the wild throughout the event in their respective weather conditions.
