Contra: Operation Galuga to include "alternative soundtrack" unlocks for Konami Anniversary save data

Contra: Operation Galuga is coming to Switch on March 12th, 2024, giving fans a fresh take on the Contra franchise. There’s no doubt plenty of old-school Konami fans will be diving into the game, and it turns out if you have specific save data on your Switch, you’ll be able to unlock some special goodies in Contra: Operation Galuga.

If you have save data for the Contra Anniversary Collection, Castlevania Anniversary Collection or Arcade Classics Anniversary Collection, you’ll be able to unlock “Alternative Sound” bonuses in Contra: Operation Galuga. You can see the breakdown for what each save file gets you below.

• Contra Anniversary Collection nets you a Retro Mix of Contra and Super Contra
• Castlevania Anniversary Collection nets you a Vania Mix of Castlevania, Dracula II: Simon’s Quest, and Castlevania III” Dracula’s Curse
• Arcade Classics Anniversary Collection nets you a Konamix of various Konami titles
