DNF DUEL DLC character "Monk" launches today

Publisher Nexon, and developers Neople, Arc System Works, and Eighting have announced that the DLC character Monk will be coming to DNF DUEL today. You can see what Monk has to offer in the trailer above.

“Monk” is a holy warrior who fights with his mighty fists and unrelenting faith. As the fourth DLC character, Monk is a well-rounded fighter who packs an intense punch and spiritual powers, bringing a unique new intensity to the online game.

Monk is one of many iconic characters in the widely popular DNF Duel, which preserves the essence of the cherished RPG Dungeon Fighter Online in its evolution to a 2.5D action-fighting experience. Featuring dynamic gameplay driven by satisfying combos, DNF Duel players harness distinctive character abilities and create sophisticated strategies to outwit, outplay and downright beat up their opponents to attain mastery of the Ultimate Will.

A powerhouse fighter, Monk can deal devastating combos and use his MP skills to deal with armor and projectiles. With a fusion of Holy Fist, a boxing-like fighting technique, and the spiritual powers of a Priest, taking down Monk will be a proven battle for enemies. The Awakening Skill further demonstrates Monk’s immense power as it causes mass destruction on the battlefield.

Players can purchase Monk for $6.99 or buy the entire Season Pass consisting of five characters, including Monk, Spectre, Brawler, Battle Mage and another unannounced fighter, for $19.99. Additionally, DNF Duel is on sale for a limited time at $19.99 – a 60% discount from the standard $49.99. The game can be purchased at the sale price until 10 a.m. PDT on March 21 for Nintendo Switch.
