STAR WARS: Battlefront Classic Collection is available on Switch today, giving players a chance to relive some online action from their childhood. Unfortunately, some may find enjoying the game impossible due to the lack of a specific control option.

Now that STAR WARS: Battlefront Classic Collection is available, players are noticing that the options for controls are lacking one major feature. Those who invert the Y-axis when playing any game (such as myself!) are simply out of luck, as that option has not been included in STAR WARS: Battlefront Classic Collection. Unfortunately, we also have no idea if this feature will be added later, as developer Aspyr is yet to comment.

This actually isn’t the first time Aspyr has done this, and specifically with a Star Wars release as well. Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast came to Switch sans Y-axis options, but they were added in via a free patch later. Hopefully we can get the same from STAR WARS: Battlefront Classic Collection.

UPDATE: A patch for STAR WARS: Battlefront Classic Collection is currently being certified and should be available on Switch soon. The PC version’s patch notes have been shared, and they reveal that a invert Y-axis option will be included. You can read through the full PC patch notes here.
