We recently learned that the next update for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 is due out later this month, and it’s going to fix up a number of bugs. Today we found out that this update won’t be the last, as it seems Konami has some considerable plans for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 going forward.

In Japan, Konami just shared a “Metal Gear Production Hotline” video that featured commentary from producer Noriaki Okamura. In particular, Okamura noted that fans were disappointed with the visual fidelity of the games in this package, as they simply matched what was offered on previous platforms.

While specifics weren’t given, Okamura did say that the plan moving forward is to enhance the visuals for the games found within Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1. This seems to relate in particular to the resolution, so on the Switch side of things, we’ll have to keep our fingers crossed for 1080p across the board.
