The Pokémon Local Acts initiative continues with 8 more "Poké Lid" manhole covers

The Pokémon Local Acts initiative continues its goal of beautifying certain areas of Japan, while also attracting tourists to areas. A major effort of the PLA has been replacing manhole covers with something a bit more eye-catching. This has been a very popular initiative, which is why Pokémon Co. continues to install them throughout Japan.

Japan’s Fukushima prefecture is the latest location to join the efforts, with 8 new utility hole covers revealed. These covers will be put in place sometime in June, and they feature Chansey as the main Pokémon. Chansey will be flanked by Morpeko, Gallade, Jigglypuff, Timburr, Happiny, Sewaddle, Sunkern, and Floette!
