Pokémon GO April Fools' Day 2024 event detailed

Game companies seem to absolutely love April Fools’ Day and Niantic is no different. Once again, the developer has come up with a silly event to celebrate April Fools’ Day in 2024, and we’ve got the details on what to expect.

On Monday, April 1, 2024, from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time, Nice Throws or better will register as Excellent Throws. In other words, the joke’s on all the Pokémon out there, as your Poké Ball aim will be quite impeccable!

That’s not all April Fools’ Day 2024 has to offer Pokémon GO players, either. Trainers can also enjoy both Timed Research and Field Research focused on Spinda for the entirety of the day.
