City Connection announces "Mamorukun Curse!" and "Under Defeat" for Switch
Two classics revived
City Connection and G.rev have announced not one, but two titles for the Switch. First up is Mamorukun Curse!, which originally released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. This 2025 release will be a revamped version of the game that includes the following extras:
- Costume downloadable content included.
- Fururu’s Challenges / Nowa’s Challenges additional stage downloadable content included.
- New music (Boosted)—handled by Yousuke Yasui.
- Major improvements to Story Mode—widened to a 16:9 aspect ratio, just like Meikai Katsugeki Mode.
Along with that title, City Connection and G.rev have also announced Under Defeat for Switch, and it’ll be released this coming Winter. This is yet another classic title getting a revamp, as Under Defeat HD originally launched on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The new features in this Switch release include the following:
- New music (Boosted)—a new background music set by Shinji Hosoe.
- Contribution and rank display function.
- Communications subtitles display function.
- And more.
