The first Five Nights at Freddy’s film was a runaway hit at the box office, bringing in major movie for all parties involved. Blumhouse, Peacock, and theaters the world over saw some considerable bank from the film, and while a sequel isn’t officially confirmed at this point, it’s pretty much one of Hollywood’s worst-kept secrets at this point.

While we’re all still pretending that another Five Nights at Freddy’s movie isn’t happening, Jim Henson’s Creature Workshop was more than happy to share the image at the top of this post. This image was also shared by Blumhouse along with the following statement:

Jim Henson’s Creature Shop is working their magic again! We aren’t sure what they’re working on, but we know it will be great!

FNAF fans were quick to analyze the picture, and the consensus seems to be that the world-famous workshop is working on a model of Mangle, a major antagonist and one of the animatronics from the Five Nights at Freddy’s series. That’s a bit of analysis you can take to the bank, but don’t cash that check until Blumhouse and Jim Henson make it 100% official.

The first Five Nights at Freddy’s film followed a troubled security guard as he begins working at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. While spending his first night on the job, he realizes the night shift at Freddy’s won’t be so easy to make it through. The film stars Josh Hutcherson (Ultraman, The Hunger Games franchise), Elizabeth Lail (You, Mack & Rita), Piper Rubio (Holly & Ivy, Unstable), Kat Conner Sterling (We Have a Ghost, 9-1-1), with Mary Stuart Masterson (Blindspot, Fried Green Tomatoes) and Matthew Lillard (Good Girls, Scream). Five Nights at Freddy’s was directed by Emma Tammi (The Wind, Blood Moon) and was written by Scott Cawthon, Emma Tammi and Seth Cuddeback.
