505 Games and Rabbit & Bear Studios are bringing Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes to Switch on April 23rd, 2024. You might remember that there was some hesitation about bringing this game to Switch, as the team wasn’t sure they could achieve their goals with the platform’s specs. It appears they overcame those hurdles, as the game is less than a week away from launching on Switch, and now we have details on framerate and resolution as well.

When it comes to framerate, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes aims for 30 frames per second. In the case of resolution, you can expect up to 1080p docked and 720p in portable mode. That said, the resolution will be variable, so there will certainly be times when the resolution is lower than the max.

A near 10 second loading time for a random encounter is CRAZY. I expected lower frame rates and graphics but I really didn't expect load times to be that bad. Now I wish I could still change my backing platform...
