Between law and chaos lies the dawn of adventure in The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak, coming July 5, 2024 to Switch. Ahead of that release we’ll be getting a series of character trailers, and today gives us an up-close-and-personal look at Bergard Zeman.

Bergard Zeman is a master of the Kunlun style, one of the East’s three great martial arts schools, and has a number of disciples scattered across the continent. He was also Van’s former master, and taught him proper martial arts. When the war between the Erebonia and Calvard began, Van received news that Bergard had lost his life in an incident, but that seems to have not been the case…

The Switch version of The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak includes functionality and controls optimized for Switch, as well as the “High Speed Mode” and “Archive” functionality from the PlayStation 5 version. There will also be a total of 33 pieces of DLC.

In The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak, the year is S.1208. A prim-and-proper young lady dressed in the uniform of an esteemed academy visits a rundown multi-tenant building in the Old Town district of Edith, the nation’s capital. With a most dignified gaze, she looks upon the plaque of the door before her. It reads: ‘ARKRIDE Solutions Office: Complicated Matters Only.’

Steeling herself, she knocks on the door three times. “First thing in the morning…?” a relaxed yet surprisingly young voice grumbles with a yawn. From the moment he opens the door to greet her, a new tale begins.
