Pokemon Scarlet/Violet Talonflame distribution announced (UPDATE)

Pokémon Co. has released a steady stream of content updates and distributions for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet since they first launched, and that cadence continues today with the announcement of yet another upcoming drop for fans.

Pokémon Co. has announced that Pokémon Scarlet & Violet fans can soon grab a Talonflame, but this isn’t any old Talonflame. This happens to be a Talonflame based on the one used by Kaito Arii to win the 2023 Japan Championships.

This Talonflame will be distributed via code at the Pokémon Japan Championships on June 1st and 2nd, 2024. The Talonflame is Level 50 and has the moves Acrobatics, Tailwind, Protect and Quick Guard with the Ability Gale Wings and the Ghost Tera Type. As soon as the code becomes available, we’ll make sure to update this post.

UPDATE: The Talonflame distribution is now live. Fire up your copy of Pokémon Scarlet/Violet and use the code F1ARR0W23MASTER to obtain your Talonflame. You have until June 2nd, 2024 to use the code before it becomes inactive.
