Aladdin X, developer of the wildly successful Suika Game, has announced that soon players will be able to take on challenges from across the entire world.

Suika Game will be getting a new online versus mode that pits players against each other, and the playerbase includes the entire world. Please note that you will need to have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription in order to hop in on this mode.

The online versus mode will have three different rules for players to choose from. Original rule keeps an eye on scores until a player’s box is filled. If you top out and have a lower score than your opponent, then it’s game over. If you top out with a higher score, your opponent can keep playing to try and best it, but it’s Game Over if they top out as well.

Time Limit will also focus on a high score, but players will have just 5 minutes to rack up the best score they can. This mode also includes a rainbow-colored gauge that drops in random fruit once it fills.

Last but not least is the Attack option, which has nothing to do with high score. The goal is to be the last player standing, and you can send over more fruit to your opponent depending on how well you do. The first one to top out is the loser.

The online worldwide versus mode will be included in the 2-Player Mode DLC that is currently available. In other words, if you snag the 2-Player Mode DLC, you’ll get the versus mode content at no additional cost once it launches May 23rd, 2024.
