Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door originally launched on the GameCube all the way back in 2004. While there are countless people who played it back then, there’s a whole new wave of newcomers eager to give the game a go for the first time on Switch. If you fall into that category, here’s your warning to be careful where you go on the internet, as the Switch remake has officially leaked.

Continuing a string of high-profile Nintendo leaks, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is the latest title to get disseminated online by pirates. This is an extra painful leak for Nintendo, as they are just hours away from launching the game worldwide. Unfortunately, now content from the game is flooding social media and other corners of the internet.

There’s no word on where the leak emanated from, but you can be sure Nintendo will soon start the hunt to track down those behind it. Should any details surface on the parties involved, we’ll be sure to let you know.

Thanks to Edbova01 for the heads up!
