Nintendo shut down online play for 3DS and Wii U games a few weeks back, not letting new players jump in for any internet-related activities. In advance of that shutdown, a number of players decided to connect online in various games in order to see how long they could stay active on the network. Today, yet another dedicated online 3DS gamer has fallen.

Amanda was the final person connected to online services for Pokémon X/Y, but their time has now come to an end. After 28 days, 23 hours, and 30 minutes of dedication, Amanda has logged off permanently. Marking the occasion, Amanda has shared a message on their time spent online along with the fan support in recent weeks. You can see that message in full below.

There are still a handful of other gamers online in 3DS and Wii U games, but their numbers are quickly dwindling. How long will they be able to hold out? Well keep tabs on the skeleton crew and see they fare!
