Romancing SaGa 10th anniversary event announced for Japan

Square Enix is holding a Romancing SaGa 10th anniversary event in Japan that starts Aug. 30th, 2024. Longtime fans of the franchise will no doubt be wondering what this is all about, as the Romancing SaGa series is much older than 10 years. It turns out this 10th anniversary celebration actually marks the tenth year of a collaboration between Romancing SaGa and Japan’s Tokyo and Saga prefectures.
This collaborative event kicked off in 2014 in Tokyo, and it’s been running every year since. This year’s installment will once again return to Tokyo, and those interested can stop by the Tokyo Midtown Hibiya Atrium from Aug. 30th to September 1st, 2024 to enjoy the festivities. Square Enix also confirmed that more SaGa-related events are coming in 2024, including a re-run of the exhibition at the Saga Prefectural Museum from November 30, 2024, to January 19, 2025.
