The Switch has been seeing a LOT of love from the Quintessential Quintuplets franchise lately. Two entries in the series just saw release on Switch in NA/EU last week, and now another installment is on its way to Japan.

Developer MAGES. has announced that The Quintessential Quintuplets: Gotopazu Story 2nd will launch for Switch in Japan on Sept. 26th, 2024. There will be a standard version for 6,930 yen, a limited edition for 13,530 yen, and a Special Box edition for 22,330 yen. The limited edition packs in a copy of the game and an A4-size, 300-page art book. As for the Special Box, that gives you everything in the limited edition, plus five acrylic stands, an A4-size canvas art, and a soundtrack CD.

This title is a “memorial adventure game” that serves as a follow-up to The Quintessential Quintuplets: Gotopazu Story. The game includes events, cards, and stories from Gotopazu, which saw release on mobile devices in 2020. Those who pick this up can look forward to getting content from the mobile game’s second year of service.
