The best selling game of all time and the biggest streamer in the world are teaming up to bring you a brand-new Minecraft animated series! You can see the official announcement teaser for this project above.
According to Netflix, the Minecraft animated series “will feature an original story with new characters, showing the world of ‘Minecraft’ in a new light.” As for who’s behind the actual animation, WildBrain, the same studio handling Sonic Prime, is tied to the series.
Unfortunately, that’s all the specifics we have on Netflix’s Minecraft animated series. We’ll have to hold out for more info, which hopefully isn’t too far off.
