Pokémon News: Pokémon Fit plush line expands, pop-up shops announced, Pokémon Center Online AUS/NZ open
Merch, merch and more merch
Another day, another round of Pokémon news! There’s always something going on in the world of Pokémon, and we’ve got the details on merch and more to share.
First up, the Pokémon Fit plush series, which we know as Pokémon Sitting Cuties, is set to expand with a massive wave of pocket monsters. Starting June 15th, 2024, Pokémon Center locations in Japan will be expanding with a whopping Kalos Region Pokémon. There will be 107 plush dolls in all, and you can get the complete rundown here.
During the period from June 15th (Saturday) to June 30th (Sunday), to commemorate the release of the new palm-sized stuffed animal “Pokémon fit” series, Atre Kawasaki (Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture) and Hoop (Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture) will be held. “Pokémon fit SHOP X・Y” is now open!

“Pokémon fit SHOP X・Y” is a pop-up shop that sells new products from the “Pokémon fit” series that will be released on Saturday, June 15th. At “Pokémon fit SHOP Seed) will be given to you at random! (Example) If you purchase a product for 6,000 yen (tax included), you will receive 3 “original postcards” and 1 “original purse” as a random gift. Details of “Pokémon fit SHOP X・Y”
To celebrate the expansion of the Pokémon Fit line, Pokémon Co. will be opening special Pokémon Fit Shop XY pop-up locations. These can be found at the Atre Kawasaki shopping mall, 1F and Osaka HOOP shopping mall, 4F. These locations will be open June 15th to 30th, 2024, and those who spend at least 2,000 yen will get a random postcard (107 designs in total). If you spend at least 6,000 yen, you get a free drawstring bag (4 designs in total). You can see the cards and drawstring bags here.
Last but not least, the Pokémon Center Online Store in Australia and New Zealand has been soft-launched. The online store isn’t running at full capacity, but there is a decent amount of merch up for grabs, albeit in limited quantities.
