PSO2: New Genesis getting a Code Geass collab

Sadly, the Switch version of PSO2: New Genesis never saw release outside of Japan. While there’s no doubt many Switch owners worldwide, it’s the lucky ones in Japan who get to enjoy this cloud-based version of the MMORPG. Now those players are even luckier, as a fresh round of collaborative content has been revealed.

Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis will be getting some avatar content featuring characters from Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2. This content will appear in-game starting June 19th, 2024, and it can be obtained through Code Geass Style scratch tickets.

Those interested can look forward to snagging avatar parts based on Lelouch, C.C., Kallen, and Suzaku. The goodies include outfits and facial parts, along with voice sets for each character, provided by the original Japanese voice actors. There will also be a Code Geass track “Previous Notice” as an in-game music disc.

Last but not least, there will be some CAST parts available based on Code Geass’ Knightmare Frames. This includes weapons like Super VARIS, movement motions inspired by Suzaku’s Lancelot, and miniaturized Mag Forms based on Shinkiro, Guren SEITEN, and Lancelot Albion.
