It’s rare to see a new NES game released this long after the console’s debut back in the 80s, but it does happen from time to time. Even rarer is that one of these games would get a movie adaptation.

Slow Mole, an indie game for NES released back in 2021 may hold the title for the first new-NES game to get a movie adaptation. As seen in the trailer, this movie will be claymation and seems to feature the Slow-Mole himself being sucked into the Slow Mole game after rage quitting.

For more information on both Slow Mole the game and Slow Mole the movie, information can be found on the creator Erik Rosenlund’s Patreon.
