Solid Snake fans were very happy to see Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 arrive on multiple platforms, giving players a way to enjoy classic MGS games on modern platforms. Unfortunately, the package was quite lackluster, as it included a bunch of bugs and resolution issues.

Konami has been working hard to iron these problems out, and they have no intentions of stopping. According to Konami’s Noriaki Okamura, the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 team will continue efforts to get the collection up to snuff, and future updates are being worked on.

As for what tweaks are on the way and when the updates will release, those details weren’t shared. That said, Okamura did acknowledge that Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 didn’t arrive in the best of shape, and noted that fans were displeased with the situation. While it’s sad to know the problems were there in the first place, it’s refreshing to hear a developer come forward and acknowledge the situation.
