The Game Boy is currently experiencing a renaissance. This week alone, we covered news of a brand-new Game Boy game called POWA!, and a re-release of Worms on the Game Boy. Next on the list is Glory Hunters, which will come to the Game Boy if its Kickstarter is a success.

Glory Hunters may look like The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, but there are some considerable gameplay differences. The main way of progressing through this title is by earning achievements, and there’s over a thousand waiting for you. This should fill up roughly 20 hours of gameplay, during which you’ll experience a non-linear story, and a game map that’s “aiming to be the biggest one in a Game Boy game.”

Glory Hunters’ Kickstarter opens April 10th, 2022, and you can keep track of that campaign here. Even better, there’s a free demo available to play right now! You can access the Glory Hunters demo through this link.
