A port of No Man’s Sky for the Switch was revealed back in February 2022, which shocked quite a few Switch owners out there. Back when the game was first announced, it was trumpeted as a title only possible on the PS4. Looks like that was quite far from the truth, as indicated by the Switch announcement.

Last we heard, the Switch version of No Man’s Sky was set to launch sometime in Summer 2022. While we don’t have a more specific update to share, it does seem like that Summer 2022 release period is still on track.

In an update from developer Hello Games, we’ve learned that the team is currently putting the ‘finishing touches to, among other things, the Nintendo Switch version.’ It’ll be extremely interesting to see just how well the game runs on Switch, and hopefully we won’t have to wait too long into Summer to go hands-on ourselves.
