NES Works looks back at Ghostbusters
Throw this one in the containment unit
Retro game savant Jeremy Parish is back with the 91st installment in his long-running NES Works series. In this episode, we get to take a look at just one game: Ghostbusters.
Ghostbusters on the NES is a port of the Commodore 64 original, and in the process of coming to the NES, the game was marred by a bunch of odd decisions. Seemingly never-ending driving sections and an incredibly unfair difficulty spike make this a game you might want to skip playing, yet endlessly intriguing to learn about.
