A Pokémon TCG themed crossover event has been announced for Pokémon GO to celebrate the upcoming release of the Pokémon Trading Card Game: Pokémon GO expansion. The event will take place from June 16th until June 30th, 2022, and will include Pikachu wearing a TCG hat (with the chance to catch a shiny variant), as well as Wimpod and Golisopod. There will also be special Collection Challenges, uniquely frequent wild encounters, and more.
