Retro game savant Jeremy Parish is back with the 92nd installment in his long-running NES Works series, and this one is jam-packed with nostalgia.

This episode in particular dives into Mickey Mousecapade, Joust, Millipede, and Donkey Kong Classics. There’s no doubt some of you older gamers are famliar with most of these titles, and probably owned a few of them. I know I fall into that grouping, with a particularly large portion of my time poured into Mickey Mousecapade.

These games might seem incredibly simple by today’s standards, but there’s still a good deal of fun to be found in all of them. A simple experience can be a constantly rewarding one, so long as it nails its mechanics. I’d go back and play any of these today, and I know I’d have just as much fun!
