Last week, we reported on how The Pokémon Company saw a ‘record financial year’ following major successes, and now we have official updated numbers on the trading cards and software sales figures.
As of March 2022, total shipments of all Pokémon-related software have exceeded 440 million units worldwide, which is a 60 million increase from the previous fiscal year’s 380 million units. For the trading card games, over 43.2 billion cards have been produced, which is an increase of 9.1 billion from the previous fiscal year’s 34.1 billion cards.
