Sonic Frontiers allows you to adjust Sonic's speed and more

Those who were lucky enough to check out Summer Game Fest 2022 in person had a chance to go hands-on with a Sonic Frontiers demo. That demo is being dissected in a million different ways, but one particularly interesting pieces of info was discovered in the game’s options.

At least in this public demo of the game, Sonic Frontiers included multiple options for adjusting the way Sonic controls. There are roughly a dozen different sliders that all you to tweak elements of how Sonic moves, including methods of adjusting how he turns, accelerates, ground resistance, and more.

Hopefully these sliders are retained for the final version of the game, but it’s possible SEGA included them in this demo just to see how people wanted Sonic to feel. I guess we’ll have to hang tight for Sonic Frontiers’ launch to find out!
