I am very familiar with the lost WiiWaa game for Wii, as I covered it to a great extent back in the day. The project fascinated me, as it married Wii gameplay with a stuffed animal to create unique experience. Unfortunately, even after months of coverage and updates, the game never actually saw release.

While WiiWaa never made it to the Wii, the developer behind it went on to great success. The project was worked on by Zoink Games, who later became known for Stick It to the Man!, Fe, and the award-winning Lost in Random.

Why didn’t WiiWaa ever see release despite being such a novel idea? As you might suspect, both funding and publisher interest were hard to bring together, but there’s a lot more to the game’s demise. You can learn all about it in the exhaustive video feature above!
