Bandai Namco shares never-before-seen concept art from Klonoa 2
Meet Lolo...not of Adventures of Lolo fame
Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil originally launched for the Playstation 2 all the way back in 2001. Those who missed the game will have a chance to pick it up with KLONOA Phantasy Reverie Series, a combination of the first and second Klonoa games. KLONOA Phantasy Reverie Series will land on Switch July 8th, 2022.
In preparation for KLONOA Phantasy Reverie Series’ launch, Bandai Namco has been sharing behind-the-scenes looks at both titles via social media. In their latest tweet, Bandai has revealed a piece of never-before-seen concept art from Klonoa 2.
This piece (seen above) showcases concept art for Lolo from Klonoa 2. Lolo is a priestess-in-training who first appeared in Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil, but this was far from here last appearance, as she later became a series regular.
Throughout her adventures, Lola meets up with Popka, a dog-like creature who was abandoned. Lolo offers Popka her scarf to keep warm with, which marks the start of Popka becoming Lolo’s best friend and sidekick.
