Plenty of companies team up to help localize games, but Nintendo is extra particular about who they work with when translating titles. Nintendo doesn’t trust just anyone to get the job done, and they often keep the work in-house. That said, sometimes they reach out for a bit of help.

In the case of Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, Nintendo teamed with none other than 8-4 to handle localization. Nintendo has worked with 8-4 a number of times in the past, so it’s clear they trust the company to do an excellent job. This news was revealed 8-4’s Jon Riesenbach on Twitter, who was the producer, editor, and more for Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes’ localization.
