Japan's "Pokefuru" snacks and Saiko Soda plush lines expand

There’s always a ton of fun merch and goodies for Pokémon fans in Japan, and we’ve learned about two more sets of items on the way.

First up is an expansion of the Pokefuru waffles line that we previously detailed. This time around, fans can look forward to waffles inspired by Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle. Along with that, three new mousse deserts are on the way as well. These will be themed after Gengar, Pikachu, and Litwick. Finally, the previously-available latte drinks will now have new pink latte artwork of Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle. This entire line will be available at the Pikachu Sweets store starting July 9th, 2022.

Moving over to the merch side of things, Pokemon Center stores in Japan are set to expand their ‘Saiko Soda’ lineup. On July 2nd, 2022, customers will be able to pick up Pichu, Phanpy, Smoochum, and Jirachi Saiko Soda plush dolls. Each one will be priced at 1,430 yen.
