SEGA Announces collab between Sonic the Hedgehog and Hololive's Inugami Korone, "SONIKORO 2022"
Small, Small, Hedgehog House
During the latest Sonic Station Livestream it was announced that Sonic would be collaborating with Hololive Vtuber Inugami Korone in a year long event called “SONIKORO 2022”. Korone is one of the initial breakout stars of the Vtuber craze and a huge Sonic fan so this collab makes perfect sense.
As part of the celebration, Korone has introduced a new model of her wearing a Sonic inspired outfit. She will also be making guest appearances at Sonic events and livestreams, as well as working with SEGA’s sound team.
Another announcement was that Korone would play a role in the Japanese dub of the “Sonic the Hedgehog 2” Movie. While her specific role hasn’t been announced yet one can only imagine how great it must feel for her, as a fan, to be involved.
The livestream also introduced the Amy Rose Vtuber model in full. You can see it at the 11:40 mark in the video below.
