It’s been rumored for a few weeks that a Nintendo Direct would be happening on June 28th, and now it has been officially announced… although it’s a Mini Partner Showcase rather than a traditional Direct. Set to air at 6am PST / 9am PST, the presentation will be roughly 25 minutes long and focus exclusively on third-party games.

I'd love to see more games like Mario and Rabbids and Cadence of Hyrule, where Nintendo allows third parties to leverage the strengths of Nintendo's IP for gameplay that Nintendo might struggle with. The reasons Age of Calamity is the best selling musou game include both Nintendo and Koei Tecmo's contributions.

Disappointed it's not a full Direct, but at least it's not an Indie Direct

I wanna see new and unannounced games. But if we are gonna get ports then let's bring the rest of the Dragon Quest series to Switch.

Mini 😕 Partner 😕 Direct. I guess it's better than nothing. 🤷‍♂️ I'm hoping they'll be new games at least. If they're years old, heavily downgraded, full priced ports, I won't be interested.

Yeah...
I have to work at that time and afterwards I'm going to grab a bite and hit the theater with some friends so I guess I'll ignore this one.

I agree, I'm not interested in seeing games that I'd rather play on superior hardware

I'm really not worried about seeing Nintendo content, as we have literally just gotten 2 games and 2 more even bigger games are coming in the next 2.5 months, so its hard to really complain there.

I just cant imagine we won't see Bayonetta or Persona here, which is exciting. Mario+Rabbids would also be nice to hear about since it's still allegedly this year. And we can finally once again hope for Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters pls

I hope this is just like getting things out of the way before the big Direct. But it would have been more awesome to have it all in the same one.
