Square Enix took to Twitter to share a few more tidbits about Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion. In particular, the company divulged a few more details about the changes and tweaks players can expect over the original release.

Here’s a full rundown of the new elements that Square Enix covered in their tweet today.

  • Improved camera and character movements
  • Optimized UI
  • A new menu-based battle system
  • New background music arrangements by Takeharu Ishimoto
  • Full VO added to scenes that were previously text only

Whether you call it a remake or a remaster, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion is looking like a project Square Enix has poured a lot of time into. You can look forward to checking out the game on Switch sometime in Winter 2022.
