While we know the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass is coming Friday, many people want to know exactly when the content will be available. While Nintendo is yet to say, their maintenance schedule may have given us a hint.

Nintendo will be running maintenance for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at 9 AM EDT on March 17th, 2022, and that maintenance will last for roughly an hour. Now that doesn’t mean the DLC will go live a day earlier than expected, but there’s a slight chance. At the very least, this maintenance timing bodes well for a midnight release on Friday.

Along with that, we also learned that we’ll be able to take our own paths through Tokyo Blur, Paris Promenade, and Ninja Hideaway from Mario Kart Tour. This shows that Nintendo has reworked these tracks a bit more than originally anticipated.

I think there is indeed a slight chance. Nintendo would always give a date for the next Animal Crossing: New Horizons update. The evening before that date is when maintenance would happen, and then the update would be available immediately after. I'm hoping that's the case this time as well.
