Niantic recently revealed that they’d be hosting in-person Pikmin Bloom events in the near future. Turns out they weren’t lying, as the first in-person event for the United States comes up on the next Community Day, July 17th, 2022!
Niantic has detailed the times, places, and locations for the in-person Community Day events, and you can get the full details below.
Event venues & time in the US
Real world events will be held alongside Niantic Community Day on July 17th, Sunday, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm local time at the following locations:
Jack London Square (Oakland, CA) 472 Water St, Oakland, CA 94607
South Seaport District (New York City, NY) 19 Fulton St, New York, NY 10038
Discovery Green (Houston, TX) 1500 McKinney St, Houston, TX 77010
Real world event specific bonuses
Players visiting any of the real world venues will be able to enjoy the following bonuses, on top of the regular Community Day bonuses:
Big Flowers at the venue will be reset every 15 minutes.
When walking in the event area, users will be guaranteed to find a “Four Leaf Clover” Decor Pikmin seedling. After growing and plucking this Pikmin, users will be able to find another “Four Leaf Clover” Decor Pikmin seedling in the same area.
*Event specific bonuses apply from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on July 17th (Sun). *Event specific bonuses apply within approximately a half-mile radius around the venue.
Venue-specific presents!
We’ll be giving away sun visors and postcards at event venues! Additionally, we’ll be giving away T-shirts to users who walk at least 5,000 steps on this day. The T-shirts are designed to match the “Flower Print” T-shirt (White) that you can currently get as a Mii character item when you join a Flower Planting Weekly Challenge!
- Users will be required to show their game screen for the purpose of verifying the amount of steps walked.
- Valid while stocks last. Presents will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Event is rain or shine, but it may be canceled if severe weather conditions occur. Please check our Twitter support account (@Niantichelp) for announcements on the day of the event.
