Netflix has announced that their live action TV show adaptation of Capcom’s Resident Evil franchise will premiere on the streaming service starting July 14th. The first season will be 8 episodes in length, and will be produced by the same production company as the Milla Jovovich starring movies, Constantin Film. Check out a synopsis of the new series below, as well as a few teaser posters.

Year 2036 – 14 years after a deadly virus caused a global apocalypse, Jade Wesker fights for survival in a world overrun by the blood-thirsty infected and insane creatures. In this absolute carnage, Jade is haunted by her past in New Raccoon City, by her father’s chilling connections to the Umbrella Corporation but mostly by what happened to her sister, Billie.

Can I just take a moment to say how much I appreciate this site being back? I know it's probably a pain but I love how on top of news this site is. I definitely missed it.
