Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent to include a Triangle Strategy character

Triangle Strategy is currently a Switch-exclusive RPG from Square Enix. It utilizes the HD-2D engine for unique visuals, an engine that was pioneered by the previous Switch console-exclusive, Octopath Traveler. Now both of these games are going to come together in a special collab for Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent, a mobile spin-off.

Square Enix has announced that Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent is going to see a collaboration with Triangle Strategy in the form of a character appearance. Square Enix teased the crossover with a silhouette that looks like Serenoa Wolffort, the protagonist Triangle Strategy. Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent players will be able to snag this Triangle Strategy character for free.

Serenoa will appear as a 3-star character, and players will be able to raise them to a 5-star grade. More details on this collab are coming July 25th, 2022, at 20:00 JST (7 AM ET) via a special live-stream event.
