While the Pokémon World Championships situation has been rather rough in the last couple of years due to the pandemic, things are back on track for 2022. The Pokémon Company has officially confirmed that the 2022 World Championships are a go, and now we know when and where.
According to today’s announcement, the 2022 Pokémon World Championships is scheduled to take place August 18–21, 2022, at ExCeL London. Top Pokémon players from around the world will be invited to compete in Pokémon Sword and Shield, the Pokémon Trading Card Game, Pokkén Tournament DX, Pokémon UNITE and Pokémon GO for the title of World Champion. If there’s an amazing Pokémon player out there, the 2022 World Championships will find them!
