Nintendo is hosting a few online tournaments here in North America and in Europe as well, and now they’ve announced a trio of tournaments for Japan as well. Splatoon 2, Smash Bros. Ultimate and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will all be included, and the event is being dubbed the Online Challenge.
Those interested in participating in the Online Challenge can get in on Splatoon 2 August 6th, Smash Bros. Ultimate on August 13th, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on August 21st, 2022.
Nintendo has also revealed that 100 players in each tournament will be selected via a random lottery, and those 100 players will get a special folding fan. There are 3 different designs for the fans, and the fan you get depends on what game pool you’re randomly selected from.
