Niantic apologizes for Pokémon GO Fest: Seattle Facebook login issues, offers extra goodies and more
Making good on a bad time
Earlier today, Pokémon GO Fest: Seattle Trainers had an issue logging into the game via Facebook. It appears that issue has been fixed now, but Niantic has issued an apology that details a few different ways they’ll be making up for the downtime.
All Friday Pokémon GO Fest: Seattle ticket holders will receive the following:
- Tonight, July 22nd, the city event experience will be available for two extra hours from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. PT
- A bonus city session from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. PT will be available tomorrow, Saturday July 23rd throughout Seattle
- A free bundle will be available in the in-app Shop, containing 1 Star Piece, 1 Lucky Egg, and 1 Super Incubator
Trainers who were unable to complete the park experience Special Research, please note that these research tasks will be updated on Monday, July 25th, 2022 to tasks that can be completed from wherever you are.
