Sea of Stars gameplay clip shows off timed blocking

Much like in the Paper Mario series, Sea of Stars will let you protect yourself from some damage, and it all depends on your timing.

In battle, when an enemy launches an attack on you, hitting a button at the exact right time will allow your team to block. You might not nullify all the damage you’d normally take, but you’ll certainly lessen the blow. Those timed blocks could be the difference between winning a fight or dying at the last second.

Sea of Stars is a turn-based RPG inspired by the classics. It tells the story of two Children of the Solstice who will combine the powers of the sun and moon to perform Eclipse Magic, the only force capable of fending off the monstrous creations of the evil alchemist known as The Fleshmancer.
